     If you're upset that I used an analogy to point out an error in logic, perhaps you should take it up with the person who made the post. An analogy is a comparison between two things for illustrative purposes or to clarify something. One of those things was the topic you are intent on discussing. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it off topic.

      

 

     

Well have you seen what the robot looks like? They made it up to look like a woman. I never said anything about religion at all like other people did, I merely pointed out the law of the land of KSA. Which I have been to on many occasions have you?

     The robot doesn't identify as anything. It's not sentient, it's programmed to respond much the same way Siri is on an iPhone, although obviously with more complexity.

 

     The rights of artificial life forms will no doubt be an issue that comes up the future, and if there's a way humanity can screw it up, I'm sure they will. I don't think that is the issue here. Our current technology is not at that level. Debating a drivers license is facetious. This robot is not capable of driving. Self driving vehicles do already exist. We are not going to be debating their gender. 

 

     Why they gave a non sentient robot citizenship, I don't know. All they have done is open up a can of worms when the iPhoneX is released.
