She will only be allowed to drive if her husband or father approves of it. Since the robot has neither then she can't drive.

Her maker can approve...

2.Tell that to the Muslim women driving in Indonesia, UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, Morocco...shall I go on? Oh wait, you mean SA women? You certainly don't have your facts updated.

2. See point 1.

3. FGM. Is a despicable practice in certain countries and is defenitly not a Muslim tradition, but rather a cultural one. Still despicable and should be eradicated. Personally I didn't even knew it existed, nor did my mother or her mother untill we heard about it from a Somali woman.

FGM is not an Islamic tradition

Egyptian-based Al-Azhar University, the Muslim world's leading Islamic university, has officially declared that FGM is not an Islamic tradition. None of the women interviewed used any religious explanations for the practice, which clearly shows that local traditions can be much stronger than religion.

Amal* is a Coptic Christian woman living in the southern governorate of Asyut, who also explained that Christians and Muslims alike believe in the practice in her community. "We got advice on how to do the cutting properly from our Muslim neighbors," she said.

Ahhh, the Egyptian-based university.   Where FGM is pretty commonplace.

No, it is not restricted to islamic beliefs only, but from my readings on the subject, I have seen it more in Africa and muslim nations than anywhere else.  Not that I am a studied scholar on the subject, so I am sure it is practiced other places/cultures of which I am not aware.

“FGM is practiced in more than 27 countries in the African subcontinent, and in communities in Malaysia and Indonesia in Asia. FGM is also common among migrant communities in North America, Europe, and Australia.

In the Middle East and North Africa, FGM is practiced in countries such as Egypt, Yemen, and Iraqi Kurdistan. FGM is also believed to be practiced to a lesser extent among communities in Oman, Jordan, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories and was practiced by Falasha Jews in Ethiopia. Recent studies also reveal that FGM is practiced in Kurdish communities in Iran.”

Again, it has nothing to do with Islamic law, but more with traditions.

Yes, it's common in Egypt, that doesn't mean that the University can't declare it an non muslim tradition.

It's a robot. Regardless of appearance, it doesn't actually have a gender any more than your laptop or phone does.

Tell that to my wife who insists the robotic floor sweeper likes me better and is willfuly not vacuuming the critical spots.

I just declared my self a Calvin Kline underwear model. I feel so young and sexy now .

The world is mad, you can declare or identify something that is absurd and false and we should all agree with it.

It's kind of like how in the last 50 years, approximately 30% of the worlds mass shooting perpetrators are from the USA. We should recognize there is an issue, but by most logic, it doesn't mean we need to label mass shootings an American tradition. However if we follow the same failure of logic that some people use when discussing Islam, we probably would have to do that.

I don't agree with that people have to agree with anything, even when its false. Just use common sense and get rid of tunnel vision.

That's why I never understand why people blindly defend everything and anything coming from a group ( religious or political) they support. It's just not possible that you can agree with every single thing, but yet it happens. I think a perfect example is this sub forum.

How about stay on the damn topic on how a female robot has more rights than an actual woman in the KSA.

It's impossible to have a female robot. By definition, a robot has no gender. Maybe you want the topic to be about something else, in which case I reccomend you heed the previous warning from moderation.

If you're upset that I used an analogy to point out an error in logic, perhaps you should take it up with the person who made the post. An analogy is a comparison between two things for illustrative purposes or to clarify something. One of those things was the topic you are intent on discussing. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it off topic.
