I remember in 2008 & 2012... there was a ban imposed on info released about campaign donations.  And the cap was lifted at the same time.  So no one could ask who donated, nor how much.

Do you think playing a game helps a divided America ? Wouldn't it be best to listen to each other and actually hear what  others say rather
than trying to game and up one another ? As long as people nurture divisiveness all I can say is : Together we stand, divided we fall.
MDL, as your choice of label, are people, your neighbors, your co workers, your friends and as long as you (generally speaking) are choosing to be part of the problem and not part of
the solution (hearing people, not labeling people) the divide will deepen. People draw a line of "us and them", a strategy to divide and conquer for a dictator but it shouldn't
be for Americans towards Americans.
If you believe certain people created the identity environment then why  perpetuate it to deepen it by "playing on their field" ?
Why not do your little part to unify the 'environment', I thought you didn't like identity politics, then change it.
It is not wrong to disagree and perhaps you were too sensitive when getting feedback for criticizing Obama too personally.

The fact remains that there is a specific group of people here who tend to apply labels, and they tend to be more conservative (though some would self-identify differently). Whether they were the "first" to apply labels here doesn't really matter. They are doing it now.
