have no new updates, our friend filed her n400 in 2017 do not know the priority date but her husband is in the military.

just received a email about case inquiry i done on 12/14/2017 and they say that they found our case to be in pre-processing stage  (wth is pre-processing stage)( possibly meaning it is not outside of normal processing times ?)

hmm .. not sure if she was called since her husband is in the military ? have you tried to enter a service request or take an info pass and talk to an IO regarding your case ? I'm in the same situation as you .

she said they called her and told her the date and time to be a the office for interview and oath

I believe Pre Procressing means that you file is scheduled to be processed. Hope Fully you should hear something soon

This is what i got from my Service request , it looks like the Montgomery field office is backed logged and the information of their Website about processing times is incorrect. So I guess i will have to wait another 3 months :-( to see what comes out of it ?
