Mine is a K1 AOS - I wonder if somehow that makes a difference as the interviews are slightly different... Perhaps it is time to contact your congressperson... I put in a SR a week ago and I seriously wonder whether that kicked them up the behind somewhat... I could be wrong but we will never know now. Your congressperson will carry some weight at least. I can’t even begin to imagine how frustrated you are. Have you tried looking on this site?

https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant

Mine stated on the site above that my interview was ready to be scheduled back in August 2017. On my case tracker it still said ‘fingerprint fee received’ since May 18th 2017.. 🙄 just seeing the August update really helped. I hope yours has a similar update and gives you some kind of hope.

done been to our congressman several times, next step will be our senator, I have account at that web site and it say's the same thing the old site said, mine is for citizenship

After 375 days (PD May 15th 2017) I received the email today to say that my interview has been scheduled. Here’s hoping the notice comes in the mail by the end of next week..

Did your notice come through regular mail or did they send a document with a tracking number.

Please HELP,

My case status online reads this:

"We received biometrics from an additional person associated with your case

You do not need to do anything at this time "

What to do with that ?? Any ideas please.

I had my interview at Montgomery AL office on monday and I was given a paper that stated Congratulations! your application is recommended for approval. I would like to know when my online status will change and how soon they will schedule my Oath ceremony because the office looks new and pretty small.

Congrats on passing interview, don't know about how long it takes to get oath, read somewhere they hold oath taking once a month,  wife is still waiting for interview to be scheduled.

I'm having my interview coming Friday (15th). I had my biometrics on November 24th, 2017. Application was received on October 30th, 2017.

It shows my case completion time as November, 2018.. But if they have ceremonies in July, maybe it'll be done faster.. Ah, I can hope.

I've had a permanent resident card since 2006, came in 2004 on K1.

To those interested in the Montgomery field office ...

My wife had her interview today and the officer recommended approval of her N0400/citizenship.  They are scheduling oath ceremonies about a month after the citizenship interview.  I spoke to one of the officers: they hold ceremonies on two different days during the week, twice a day.  About 100-120 new citizens pass through these ceremonies a week.  The office is getting experienced and faster.

Yours truly,

Jerry

All went well, my appointment was at 12:45, they saw me exactly at 12:45. I was back outside 20 minutes later.

They told me I will get a letter for the oath ceremony within 1-2 months. It could either be at the Birmingham court house, or if that takes too long to fill up, back in Montgomery (I live in Shelby county, so Birmingham is my go-to location normally)

Joining this topic, I had an interview last May 07, this year. Passed and was given a paper which says Congratulations! Your application is recommended for approval. I'm still waiting for the oath letter until now. Any ideas how long will it takes? Some says 1-2 months, some within 3-6 months. Waiting is just killing me. It's taking forever. Getting worried, because I have a 16 years old daughter. And I want her paper work to get done as well, before she turns 18. But can't do anything since I haven't gotten my citizenship certification.

Anyone have the same experience as mine, or anyone waiting too long to get their oath letter yet? Thanks guys!

For Uscis Montgomery field office. I know this is new office which opened January of last year.

I had my K1 AOS interview Monday July 2nd - the guy we had was very brisk.. he rushed hubby who is usually very good at handling pressure - we were in there for all of 10 minutes and all he asked was how we met and what music we are into. He also commented that we had traveled a lot. The only evidence he wanted was our marriage certificate and proof of financial merging - we gave him a statement from our joint bank account, copies of hubby’s wills, health/car/life insurance docs and a utility bill. He didn’t want to see the pictures, didn’t ask for our birth certificates or passports and didn’t ask either of us our full names or dates of birth. If you get the guy with ginger hair just be prepared to have him rush you to get the documents he is asking for. They like to make you uncomfortable, I guess partly to see how you/your spouse will react and partly to catch you/spouse off guard and then ask a question where you could lie about the answer and not have answers matching up. If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to worry about!

The Case Tracker app did not update but the other site did yesterday to say that the card was in production as of July 2nd :)

I hope this helps some of you and good luck to those waiting!

We attended my wife's naturalization ceremony yesterday in Montgomery, Alabama.  There were about 50 recipients at the ceremony: the Montgomery USCIS office is trying to expedite their process, it was a nice ceremony and standing room only.  Good luck to all who follow!
