I had my AOS interview two days ago. I was not approved on the spot, IO said she will review my case and decides. If she needs RFE or any other document and send a letter.

I was a total nervous reck and I forgot to give her additional evidences.

Can I send the documents to the field office and address it to her? or I should wait for her decision? The wait is killing me and I don't know what to do.

Any suggestion is welcome....

just be patient but that is a good news that you had your interview. I would say don`t provide any more information unless it is requested at this point. It sounds like IO did not have enough time to review your case completely otherwise she could have asked for more evidence.  Hopefully she can review soon and you can get your approval without RFE.

Thanks, I have been playing million scenario in my head if I have submitted the additional documents, maybe she would have approved it. My case is unique in the sense that my online status is still showing AS AT AUGUST 15, 2016 Your case is schedule for interview. I did not get the interview notice. I was just 10 mins away from the field office when my wife brother called that I have a letter from Homeland, the interview notice just came in for an interview less than 30 mins before the start time of the actual interview. And I live 2.5 hrs away from the field office. (was glad i contacted the Senator Liaison office).

Wow unbelievable delaying interview letter that far.  I was worried that they would not let you in since Tier2 did not confirm your interview. Anyway you had your interview. Hopefully you will hear something soon. Uncertainty definitely makes it difficult to wait but at least you have your EAD card to work and finished the interview as a big milestone.

Well, I had the interview, which I would have love to be over with. I am afraid I might be called in for another interview or even stoke. Which means more wait time. Not settling this GC issue puts life planning almost at hold. We were planning on buying a house this year but noooooo... I told my wife until we finish this process my mind won't be at ease.

My EAD has expired but the automatic renewal kicked in. I have applied for renewal since May, 16...2017 but still nothing. Service Request, Infopass on the EAD have not yield anything.

It is very frustrating....The only good thing is I have at least have an interview and now, the waiting continues.

Never send the documents without them asking. Not everyone gets approved on spot and sometimes the IO is not allowed to approve on spot and has to 'recommend' you for approval.

Unless you have visible red flags, I wouldn't worry too much.

Thanks, for the encouragement. I am just worried that I missed the chance to present the new lease to her. I had it with me but somehow was carried away answering other questions and not presenting it to her. It is killing me deep down. But as you suggest, I will wait and see what will come out of it.
