I am in Los Angeles but routing for the Astros because I hate how everybody is a bandwagon fan here. I am not from CA so I don't care about the Dodgers, also I got a $100 bet that Astros will take the series.

And the bullpen again blew it -- the story that permeated the 2017 season.

 

Hinch forgot what led to previous success.

I'd probably have left Morton in longer.

I'd definitely have had Devenski throw another inning -- he was on, and engaged.

 

Why bring in Giles -- at all, and in a non-save situation?

Giles is, in my observation, a head-case.

And why is Luke Gregorson not the closer, as he once was?

 

The Astros will lose to Kershaw on Sunday and will not win both in L.A.

Hastily organized Astros Championship parade occurred on Friday in downtown Houston.

An estimated 750,000 to 1 million people attended or attempted to attend.

Mass transit was overwhelmed, and some expectant fans never got anywhere close to the parade route.

However, no one became violent from frustration.

Of note, Houston police reported only 4 relevant arrests in the celebratory post-Series aftermath:

-- 2 people for trespassing on the baseball stadium's field; and

-- 2 people for dancing atop a police cruiser.

This probably isn't bad, in terms of sports fans' behavior at such times.  Comments?

Sounds downright civil compared to a few previous championship celebrations.
