I think so. We already talked about it and he is ok w/it. It just depends on well he speaks. My husband is from "country" and they tend to say a few things that most ppl wouldn't understand.

That is a conversation that we had too.. Neil is from "country" also and is ok with going to school as well. I think it's a good idea, and a great way to keep them busy for awhile.

My fiance is coming on May 11, and I'm worried about the the same thing. I recently got cable, he's bringing his playstation, and I'm currently trying to figure out where jamaicans/belizeans play football in LA so that he can keep connected. School is a definite, community colleges have all types of job readiness and learning skills programs just to get him acclimated and possibly meet people.

SEAN IS NOT HERE YET BUT I WAS JUS WONDERING WHAT SOME OF YOU DID WITH THE S.O. WHEN HE/SHE FIRST CAME IM SURE ILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL RIGHT AWAY AND HE GONNA BE EXTREMELY BORED UNTIL I CAN GET A DAY OFF TO GET HIM SITUATED. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
