USCIS Interview cancelled last minute

Hi everyone,

Please, advice! I had an interview scheduled for today ( Oct 25) and the USCIS office called me one day before and said that they haven't received my submitted package yet and they have to cancel the interview. I still showed up on the interview today and she told me that she can't accept us right now since my package hasn't arrived yet.

What should I expect? How long is it going to take ? 

Did somebody have similar issues?

The rate at which USCIS is operating is terrifying. Just hang in there, they will reschedule you for another interview when they have an opening. The waiting just continued for you.  By the way, did you receive a cancellation notice from them? Documentation is important with them.

No cancellation letter at all! And the officer said that I will not receive one. I will just receive a new interview date letter.

Oh ok, hope that field office keep to their words. The reason is that the field office and USCIS have a terrible communication style. 

Anyway, hang in there. You will get another date very soon.

Thank you for supporting me:)

I will update here once I receive the new letter. I'm hoping it's gonna be week or two.
