Hello,

I filled DV 2019 form for my father . His name is William Brown so mistakenly I put his first name in last name box and his last name in first name box. I didn't notice until I submitted the form  until I saw William, Brown in the conformation page. do you have any recommendation. can I correct it later? Is that acceptable? should I complete a new form for his???

please help me

Are you sure you did it wrong & it’s not just that the confirmation puts the last name in front? Unfortunately if it’s wrong there’s nothing you can do. Submissions are final and another entry will see both disqualified as duplicate entries (which they’ll catch using the photo software).

Thank you for your respond. Yes I am pretty sure i put in wrong order. have you seen someone withe same mistake who have the chance to correct it later?

There is no chance to correct wrong information on the form. Submissions are final.

My application confirmation has:

SURNAME, FIRST MIDDLE

So if the page you're looking at has the green SUCCESS! on the top, then yes, you filled out the form wrong.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot alter anything after the fact, and another submission will be picked up using photo recognition software and disqualify you.

So long as Trump doesn't get his way (all over the news in my country at least that he's stated today he wants to do away with it since the latest terror attack in NY was done by someone in the US on a DV lottery win) apply again next year.
