Don't worry about it OP, Joan is from the Philippines, a country on the high possible fraud list too. We had no problem throughout the entire, painfully long process. There are also plenty of people on here from Mexico. Post some questions in the Mexico sub-forum if you specific concerns, but you stated that your relationship was rue and bonafide , so submit the proper evidence and all should be fine. Good luck!=

India is listed too. I was approved. It all depends upon how genuine your relationship is.

We are not at the end of our journey so I don't have a personal success story to share yet....but I have to say reading some of the post one here can be discouraging if you are petitioning for a high fraud country.  I've seen many horror stories and negative responses that have made us tense at times.

The fact of the matter is if your relationship is real then we have to try not to worry (easier said than done..i know) how long this takes ins't in our hands.

Good luck to you!!

And high fraud country can still be approved.

Red flags even in cases from high fraud countries can be overcome and successful.

Just be prepared and have all documents needed when it comes time for interview.

It looks like most of the world is on the high fraud list. But don't worry too much, if your relationship is legitimate you'll have all the proof you need. just make sure to submit that proof.

sometimes even people with a genuine relationship get denied

If people follow the rules, have all the documentation in order and dont lie to USCIS,  I think its going to be a successful case.

For K-1? No, Mexico doesn't seem to be considered high fraud. I can't think of anyone on VJ from Mexico having any problems. Definitely not as high as some places (such as Nigeria, Ghana, and MENA countries).

That website is not official.  USCIS does not have an official list even though there are a lot of countries known for "Visa Fishers" (MENA countries, mostly).

Mexico is not known for scammers trying to get married to Adjust Status.

I was going to say, although Mexico is on high fraud lists like most or all third world countries, and we have a fair share of people crossing the border illegally or trying to adjust status based on marriage, it's not particularly known for love scams like other countries are. We might face additional scrutiny and the interview portion of it in Ciudad Juarez doesn't sound like a party, but  If your relationship is bona fide and you're prepared you shouldn't have reasons to worry.  :) Having said that, every country faces RFEs, tough agents and backlogs, this isn't necessarily country specific (which can be) good luck!
