Does being signed off sick from work affect your medical & K1 visa application?

Depends on the reason you're signed off, if it's a communicable disease or mental health issue then Knightsbridge may need additional information or further doctors reports before sending the file to the embassy.

 

I was off work for a few months before my medical (complications following surgery) & didn't have any problems :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

No im not off work currently, my manager has mentioned occy health to me because ive had an ongoing chest infection since Aug (i had one week off the past 2 months due to it) & im awaiting a second xray as there unsure what's wrong & if occy health sign me off im worried it will affect my visa
