Hello, 

 

Im filing with my father and step mom to bring my fiancé over on a k1 but I'm not sure if I need to provide the same evidence as they do. E.g. tax returns, paper of employment, bank statements etc. I know I need to fill out the affidavit of support along with them but do I need the supporting documents also?

Each sponsor who completes the I-134 is required to provide supporting documents to prove each income or asset listed as well as tax return transcripts for past years' tax filed.

I think for k-1 you can only use one sponsor. 

 

So so it will be you and one more person. All the papers apply to all sponsor. Even if you're unemployed you should show your tax returns and bank statements.

Yes you need the supporting documents either than that visa will not be approved. It should be up to date

and as said, for the k1, you can only have one joint sponsor

 

for the adjustment of status both can, but for the k1, only one, so if they need to combine income to cover your fiancé, then you will need to find another joint sponsor or your dad have assets
