CR2 visa for my son in India put to adminstrative processing after ontervie

Dear all, 

 

can anyone suggest why my son’s visa CR2 being put under adminstrative processing , my husband is citizen had provided all documents but yet after 3 221g of asking to prove relationship between petitioner and benificiary (my son) and relationship between mother and beneficiary and details about our petitioner previous marriages they have put the case under adminstrative processing ? Me and my husband own a house together we have filed our taxes together we have all proofs and how else can I prove my son is my son apart from birth certificate and my sole guardianship order from court?  In interview the consulate asked my minor son what is ur step dads brothers name and my son really did not remember his brother’s name and the consulate asked my son when was your last meeting with your biological dad for which my son said don’t know because my son has always been with me and not his biological dad as he had given up his rights and given me full custody and he had married another lady just with 6 months of our separation and so we had opted for mutual divorce later. It’s been 13 years since I have been deprecated from him and my son never had met him anytime lately apart from when we had custody case 3 years ago.  What do you thing this adminstrative processing is for and how long will this take , I am going to travel back to USA without my son and wait for him in USA , can anyone suggest when this adminstrative processing will be done and what are they doing by just holding this on AP? It’s really depressing to leave my son back in India with my parents .

Why not just get a DNA test?

I would surely do DNA test if they ask me to , Here in India they don't do any DNA tests without any request from embassy or Govt!
