What a joyful day!

The title says it all: yes, Kim's GC arrived yesterday.

Interviewed on 3/8, approved on the same day.

Green Card is here on 3/20.

Thank you our VJ brothers and sisters for all your advices and supports through our journey.

K-1/K-2 VISA'S APPROVED IN MONTREAL MAY 2, 2005

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Guys

Congrats. Can you tell me how you got your card so fast? I had my interview in Nov 2005 and have not receieved my GC yet. They say my name is stuck on FBI name check. Do you remember the name of the person that interviewed you? Did they stamp your passport and take away your I-94? Please let me know as I went to Phila office too and I have had no luck yet.

I'll answer since my hubby was interviewed in Philly on 3-1-06 and got his green card a week ago.

I don't know the name of the gentleman (and he was) that interviewed us but he told us he didn't approve on the spot but he indicated he was going to approve. They did not take Richard's I-94 and most of us in Philly have been told that Philly does not stamp your passport. It does appear, though, that Richard's background check had been completed by the time he was interviewed.
