Hello..my sister submitted her 2nd Medical in March-2018.and fresh ds-260.. embassy also said once we received we will schedule for oath and fingerprinting..now for 2nd medical only 5 Weeks left to be Expire..Embassy didn't Contacted yet..Even though its been almost 6 weeks there is No any updates..i inquered by emailing 2 to 3 times ..they are not Responding. Not even Date changing ..they are not Replying..i am worried about it ..is this Normal ?that when u inquer your Case they dnt Reply back ..because its happening Nowadays..otherwise before they always Responded..atleast they should reply back ..what should i Do now? Need advice..Thanks..

really very tough situation and i understand you concerns. i think most of the members are really sharing their opinion (not expert advise and for expert advise lawyer seems reasonable option). US Consulate still replies in few days and so better call on consulate number and request for an update. i'm optimistic they will reply soon, actually since trump joined government there are many laws and regulations are either changes or is in process of change due to executive orders. so also think from the perspective of US consulate because they can't deviate from government mandate or policy. i really hope that things turn out eventually good for everyone but always prepare for worst. i'm sure interview of your sister was good and concluded well, and there are no red flags.

good to hear, i think they are under staff and/or overwhelmed with applications. keep your hopes alive because good approaching faster than appears :innocent:

are you going to submit fresh DS260 again online or in paper from? our medical was given on 15 november 2017, so is considered expired or valid?

Medical is only valid six months from the date on which it is performed. So it is expired..

It's interesting to note that most people's 2nd medical (those who have had it done) will expire within six months.  However, in my case, my husband had his second medical in April 2018 and his expiration date states October 31, 2020 🤔.  This is really confusing, I'm not sure if this was a typo on their end (which seems highly unlikely) because from April-October 2018 will be exactly six months but I'm not sure why the expiration year says 2020?!
