bro, may i suggest you (or all) something different! change approach this time; instead hire a legal expert to prepare your upcoming cases before interview to simply avoid AP, though it might cost bucks but eventually might end up saving considerable time, stress and expedite visa processing which is priceless, isn't it? authentic links are below and myself considering to do now, also initial assessment is free so you can consider.

in continuation to my earlier posts in trail above, today renown local news channel reported that attempt thwarted by islamabad along with allies/friends to add Pakistan in the list of banned/watchful countries that they denied to confirm.  also in one of above videos a lawyer suggested that wait for 60 days, if still progress not going on then consider to hire legal expert to deal with your immigration matter for expedite processing/response, though there is no independent confirmation but there is no harm to try.

all the best to everyone and i'll keep you posted, wish me luck too and strength to help all, lets go together ;)

There is no expedited processing for these immigration cases. At least, that is what the US immigration department told me and several others. I applied last march and I have been in AP for 3 months now after my interview on November 15th 2017.

I did hire a lawyer for this whole process but unfortunately they cannot do anything and the process cannot be expedited and is at the disposal of US immigration.

seriously! i had interview right after few days.

well i'm suggesting to hire a lawyer before submitting applicant case to US consulate, not after interview.

but thanks for pointing out that there is no use (or not much lawyer can do) after interview in US consulate.

I am saying the same thing. I hired one for the whole process from filing petition to getting the visa in hand and I had interview in a week or so too after submitting and getting NVC.

A lawyer doesn't have the power to expedite your process and even if he did, these cases are not eligible for such requests so we are just waiting now in AP.

Good you understand that. There is no way to expidite the AP. In my situation rest of folks know i involved senetor and congressman even but no Help. Attorney is always helful where your case is complicated rest they just love to get 1000 of bucks just to fillout simple forms. My all cases are scheduled for interview within a month being in NVC with no problems.

In my personal experience, You would be most likely getting AP if your VO had a bad night, though formally its due to your name hit U.S senctions list. Missing any document. Too much travel or relocation history etc.

Is this AP thing mostly exist in Pakistan or you guys heard it from other coutries as frequent .. I hear every second applicant is sent to AP after interview in US embassy Islambad , which is a black hole with no time limit.. :(

Yes almost everyone gets an AP and each AP will take its own time.  Apparently AP for parents/siblings is taking the longest, then comes AP for fiance and then AP for a spouse. Males are more likely to get an AP because of a common name. AP for a missing document takes the shortest. However, these are not always true; each AP is a case of its own and will take its own time, it cannot be compared to other APs. The quantity and type of red flags in the case determine how long it should take and unfortunately there is no straightforward method to find out the red flag.

It exists in other countries as well.
