Hi Everyone,

There is need to realize that geo-political situations also affects relationships between nations and their foreign policies. In Islamabad case, there is major shift in policies by Washington in contrast to previous government; that might be the probable cause of delayed processing to reduce immigration from Muslim countries and may be it is deliberate attempt as president committed many promises while campaign. Hope most of you remember “immediate ban” on few countries right after resident sworn. Also in recent past, there was government shutdown so this means most of the governmental staff has stopped from working until government declares to resume work. I’m not sure that “government shutdown” is still intact or lifted. But in my humble opinion this either remains same, or become “snail pace” or, god forbid, might even get worse considering broken immigration system, major shift in foreign policies, discouraged immigration from certain countries (either publicly or silently), growing terrorism watch list etc.

However, everything that is stated above is my own opinion and can be disagreed, but should not be judged upon. Wise saying is “hope for the best, but prepare for the worst”. Purpose of stating above is not to discourage, dishearten or elevate concerns of anyone but to provide realistic review holistically.

All the best to everyone and to me as well; despite all I’m still optimistic though : )

Best,

So far no update, still in administrative processing. It would be exactly two years in March though.

On the other hand I have two more cases scheduled for interview. One is by end of Feb and the second one is in 1st week for March. Both in islamabad embassy. Lets see what they do with them. -cheers-

bro, may i suggest you (or all) something different! change approach this time; instead hire a legal expert to prepare your upcoming cases before interview to simply avoid AP, though it might cost bucks but eventually might end up saving considerable time, stress and expedite visa processing which is priceless, isn't it? authentic links are below and myself considering to do now, also initial assessment is free so you can consider.

in continuation to my earlier posts in trail above, today renown local news channel reported that attempt thwarted by islamabad along with allies/friends to add Pakistan in the list of banned/watchful countries that they denied to confirm.  also in one of above videos a lawyer suggested that wait for 60 days, if still progress not going on then consider to hire legal expert to deal with your immigration matter for expedite processing/response, though there is no independent confirmation but there is no harm to try.

all the best to everyone and i'll keep you posted, wish me luck too and strength to help all, lets go together ;)
