just to update everyone that one of my friend got an email after her husband interview was done on June 14 and was on AP since then to resubmit Medical exam and 2 passport size pics, and then go to the link to schedule an oath and fingerprint.

After 4 updates my mother in law gt her visa issued today so I hope you all will gt good news soon

Although that is a long time to be in AP, it does sound good I believe that they have asked him to schedule for an oath and fingerprint.

Congrats!! How long was she in AP? When was her interview?

hmm that's i don't know. he was in AP for 4 months then got email to resubmit all the documents again marriage certificate divorce certificate from previous marriage, pics, then after 3 months received the above to submit.

 

My parents interview were on June 14 as well so they are still under AP, and no update since 12/08

Most of you are here for IR-1/CR-1 I believe. Has anyone heard any good news for K1 visa? This whole process has been lingering on for almost a year now for me.

I emailed them a few days ago and I received a reply. My case got updated today. It is my 4th update since my interview on 15th of November.

 

Interview 15th Nov

Updates on 27th Nov, 29th Nov, 8th Dec, 16th January. Case status still says 'READY'

My fiancé got her k1 visa on January 3 after being on ap for six months she also received ds5535 witch she submitted on aug 2
