Hi everyone. I have a question my sister had an immigrant visa interview on 18th November 2019 in Islamabad pakistan. The interview went well visa officer asked few questions.. checked original nikah nama and pics and in the end kept the passport and congratulated her that her visa is approved and she will get her passport in 2/3 weeks. She was neither Given any form 221g nor mentioned that there was further administrative processing needed but now its been almost 6 weeks and when she check the status it says administrative processing. Her case status updated twice after 15 days of the interview Does anyone know how long it will take? If they had to put her in administrative processing why didn’t they mention at the interview or asked any documents?

Did you get your visa??

My interview was on 19 sep and was given 221g form with no option checked.still in AP

My interview was on August 5, 2019 at Islamabad Embassy. After the interview CO asked for CV, questionairs and recent tax return, which we provided next week through email and uploaded on ceac as well. 

 

Brother check this link, its very similar to your case. I think you have the Joint Sponsor issue. You just need the new J.S or your previous I-864 already sponsored too many people.

Why CO gave you 221g form? Was any document missing??And which option did CO check on it?1st r 2nd?

Hello All!

Interview for K1 & K2 Visa done on 20th December. Case Creation date updated right after interview and "Ready" (Immigrant Visa) went to "Application Received" (Non Immigrant Visa). Have had two updates since then, 30th December for K1 and 2nd January for K2.

I had been logging into US Travel Docs on n off and it started showing "Document Delivery Information" where it said "You Passport is with US Embassy/Consulate". I am guessing it happened somewhere between 30th December to 2nd January since I was not regularly checking.

I went on to passport tracking and it resulted in "No Status available for the passport number submitted"

Any insights??

I have researched on this portal under my own country but it did not yield many results.

Which visa type is this? How was the interview?

Any one knows what if medical expires. Do they call for 2nd medical and how to submit medical test again.
