Hi

I have got my I 130 petition filed in september 2017. Its with Nebraska service centre right now , looking at the processing time lines I sort of got hopeless as it's taking way too long or maybe I was too hopeful in the beginning. Could someone please advise if and for how long travel to is to visit my spouse will be possible, I am currently holding a B1B2 visa.

I am guessing that people like myself would have tried these options , would appreciate if you share your experiences and also if this is a viable option to go for

thabks for your help

Hi All,

i am also in the same situation. I applied for my husband's I-30 in June 2017 and we are planing to visit my parents in New York for 3 weeks. He has a valid B1/B2 and we live in UAE. I hope he doesn't face any issues as we are only visiting for 3 weeks and we have to come back because we both work in UAE.

I am also a born American citizen.

What kind rfe they asked

They asked for G-325A of me and my husband and also his photo. They received our response on Oct.11, but until now still the status update doesnt change. Hoping for an approval soon.. 245days before we got an update regarding our case and that was they’re asking for a G-325A and a photo of my spouse. PD is dec.15. Our case was sent at Texas service center. Let’s just hope for the best guys.. GoodLuck to all of us..God is Good.😊

Hey, I understand that it's getting really hard for you to sit back and wait.So I thought I could help you (not demotivate) by sharing my story of B2 visa while my CR1 was and is still in process.

This dates back to the month of July(April Filers) when  I applied for a B2 visa-here I am the beneficiary and  was interviewed in Delhi  Embassy for visitor visa.Prior to filing the B2 visa application we checked from N number of places if B2 visa be granted while CR1 is processing and I was assured that I can go ahead and try my luck. Also FYI the US Department website itself says in bold that "An In progress CR1(Immigrant) visa forms no basis for a B2 denial".Well in my case it was the only reason for 2 denial the moment i said  my CR1 is in progress it was over the interviewer didn't even  bother asking anything else ,all he managed saying was"I know its a long wait and the fact that you want to meet your husband forms no ground for us to grant one, because your petition is being adjudicated and it hasn't been confirmed if you are in a bonafide relationship. So if you were to ask me go ahead and try your luck but don't have high hopes.Best of Luck to you:)
