So I will have my AOS interview on Nov.4. When I processed my AOS last April 2017, my husband was still working and we provided an affidavit of support with no co-sponsor. Right now, he has not been working for more than a month and my AOS interview requires us to bring an affidavit of support, latest ITR and W2. What shall I do? I am working right now though. But my husband doesnt so I'm confused what to put in our Affidavit of support or do we need to find a co-sponsor? I actually submitted a fully accomplished I864 with itrs and w2s when i processed my aos and i didn't get any RFE. I don't know why they are asking for it again. Please help.

You working does nothing. He needs a job, why did he quit it knowing that you possibly had your interview? You should be prepared with a cosponsor because if they ask and you admit he doesn't have his job anymore. (obviously don't lie) you will be denied without the cosponsor.

We went through the same thing last year and don't panic! It's imperative he find a job, but get co sponsors all the same. I was laid off before we could apply for AOS but after my wife's visa was approved (and before she could even move over here). I fortunately found a job within a month, which exceeded their requirements, but I got my parents as co sponsors all the same just to be safe, as we left nothing to chance in our process. We were panicked at first as well, because we knew we needed to submit a second affidavit for the AOS, but it's not over yet. Just stay calm, and tackle it one step at a time. We didn't think we'd make it after I lost my job, but I ended up with a better one and my wife's green card interview is in three days so keep at it; it's not the end. If you have at least one co sponsor that exceeds their requirements, it should be fine, and have your spouse work on getting other employment ASAP.

Thanks. Maybe getting a co-sponsor is the best option for now. We didn't know we'll have our interview. We just received the mail last week and interview will be next week. I was the one who asked him to quit his job since he was so exhausted all the time.
