I know. It's been a little disheartening and I'm very nervous about waiting for USCIS' response because I feel like they've been very unpredictable but I'm also trying to stay positive.

You would need to call the USCIS and submit inquiry. You must have a valid reason to try to expedite and provide as many details as possible while your are on the phone with the representative. Make sure they take notes about all that you tell them. If USCIS decides that your reasons is legit, then they will ask you to provide proof. People generally try to expedite based on jobs offers and provide letters about this. Some send letters which come from employers stating that they will have terminate employee's job due to EAD expiring soon. 

 

I had employment termination letter from my employer, but keep in mind that my case was also very different. I work for small business and it was hard to find replacement for the job. It would have also affected the company and would have caused severe financial trouble, so basically there were more than one reason. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

No yet. USCIS received my RFE on March 23. Now waiting. Hopefully for not so long.

Just got back to me today, with a message from USCIS.

 

I should receive a decision or notice of other action in the next 60 days. :(
