Besides contacting my congressman, I also contacted the Ombudsman. I just received a message from them saying that USCIS sent me a RFE on March 8. I wonder what can be. Now my case will be on hold until they get my answer. I think I should not be sad :(. I have seen some people see their cases moving after they answer their RFE. I hope for the best.:)

How frustrating! Did you receive the RFE yet?

I went into my congressman's office and filled out a form for them to chase up my case. So far no news.

I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

Yeah, I got the letter yesterday. They are asking for a joint sponsor. Well, at least is an action in my case.

Took more than a week to my congressman receive a message from the USCIS. Hopefully when they contact you they will have good news.

Has anyone here received Interview Notice yet? I am trying to figure out when I may be getting any notices at all. My field office is fast but NBC seems to be taking forever!

Some people here already got their green card. But most of us still waiting for a progress in our cases. Some of us still waiting for our EADs. We all are October filers. Probably you should check the tread for January filers. I am sure there you are going to find people with a similar timeline.

I got the same RFE and on the same date. They had, in the previous RFE, asked for my tax and job offer letter to consider my income. This time it is to have a joint sponsor. It is really ridiculous how this works. I am planning on replying to this RFE soon and wait until July for them to touch it again.

I am just curious about how long it took/takes for those who filed in October. If there are people who already received GCs then NBC may not be too much behind.

Well, hopefully will not be the case. It's not right what they make us go through. Good luck and keep us posted it!

Based on statistics from different sources my office seems to be fast. Not sure if it is gonna live up to it or not :) Thanks and best wishes to you as well!

This was updated 2 days ago on the Case Processing Times section of the USCIS website for the NBC.

It is, however, a blatant lie given that there are at least a few of us here (myself included) who have received no update to the status of EAD / AP documents, petitions for which were filed in October.

Daily rant against USCIS over.

For now.

So did you have two RFE's??? Man that's crazy but it seems like they are sending late RFE's to a good number of people. My theory is that it's to weed out poorer immigrants. I hate that they're doing it but it's not surprising. We're a very hot topic right now.

Someone here that responded to a RFE. Did you guys send the original RFE letter, or a copy as states in the instructions ? I am asking because I saw on internet that people usually send the original letter.
