How that works? You getting like combo card? Or separate card like EAD but only AP?

No combo card. I received a separate card for my EAD which states not valid for re-entry and the AP will come in the form of a paper document.

Anyone else file in October and are still waiting?

My case is being processed at the National Benefits Center and apparently, as of last week, they just started processing the applications received on October 1.

Mine was received on October 30, so annoyingly--given I've already been waiting an agonizing 115 days--seems there's some way still to go.

Fingers crossed they're processing a days worth of applications each day, or is that me being stupidly optimistic?

** EDIT ** This post is in relation to EAD/AP, who knows how long I'll be waiting for GC :/

Sorry to hear that you're in the same boat.

"I am going to contact my congressman." - Any idea on how to go about that/exactly what to say?

At my wit's end here waiting.

Have a good weekend yourself and hope you hear something soon!

Same here. I PD is 9/14/17 but I got an RFIE, reply to which was received on 10/24/17 (Biometric on 10/26/17). Even from 10/24/17, its been 123 days and I have no positive news.

Contacted senator's office but they get the same reply from USCIS, "Under review, you will hear from us shortly."

SR - 3 times. 2 are marked completed but nothing happend.

Expedite - Jan 26- was assigned to an officer on Jan 30 but nothing has happened. Got an email saying "Under review, you will hear from us shortly."

There are people from October that have GC and interviewed in Jan/Feb. I don't understand how USCIS processing works.

Anyone know if contacting Ombudsman would make any difference?

So frustrating isn't it! Really seems to be luck of the draw.

I think the processing speed is based off the field office, but could also be luck of the draw.

You can find who is your representative here:

https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

You can call his/ her office and explain your situation with the immigration. They will tell what you need to do. They have someone in their office that works with government agencies issues. They are already used to that. Sometimes they help. We never know until we try, right?

It's so frustrating! I also would like to know why some people have a fast and smooth process, while others need to wait forever.

I don't know if contacting Ombudsman would make a difference. But give it a try and tell us what happened.

Thanks a lot, going to try calling them on Monday and see what they have to say.

Seems like a lot of people are experiencing delays with the National Benefits Center.
