I did file my application on 10/18 and it was delivered on 10/20 successfully. No NOA1 uptill now is received. As far as I experience from people here, it may take 2-3 weeks to receiving NOA1. Let be patient together!!! Good luck to all of us.

Good luck! Keep us posted!

No worries!

For bona fide marriage I sent bank joint statements, health insurance showing both names, bills with both name, pictures, and some other things. We did not have a lot things because we have been married for just 3 months. Hopefully they will not ask for more evidences, because when they do delay the process.

I will update as soon I get any news.

please do!!

Just wanted to help people feel a bit calmer. I was really worried because my NOA1 was taking a lot longer than the five or six days I was seeing in the VisaJourney stats. It ended up taking 10 days (I sent it at the beginning of the month). So I guess don't worry too much about those numbers. Good luck to everyone!

Hi! We filed on 10/2 and received our NOA1 on 10/9 that was dated as of 10/6. Biometrics scheduled for 11/1. So far so good, but I have a feeling we'll have some RFE's coming our way. Can't wait for the EAD and AP to come in! Hopefully it will come within 4 months since we have an international trip planned in mid-Feb :)

Good luck everyone!

We're not doing adjustment of status. I posted in the wrong thread. :-) But anyway we did send ours to the Chicago lockbox and it took a lot longer than the statistics on VisaJourney were telling me it should take for me to get the email saying they had accepted the petition. So hopefully this is good news for those of you who are waiting for the email/NOA and are stressed. Good luck!

what made you think you will receive RFE?

Are there instances when someone don't get RFE at all?

I noticed a few typographical errors on the forms themselves. I had a friend who works as a paralegal in an immigration law firm and has a lot of experience reviewing these forms look over them. Unfortunately, due to a time crunch (my husband's J-1 grace period running out), we submitted the forms before my friend had a chance to review. He said that they could be insignificant enough and we'll be ok, or we could get a notice for it; all depends on the person reviewing our forms. Soooo we'll see. Fingers crossed!

Oh. With the amount of paperwork we had to fill. it gets overwhelming and really prone to error. That's understandable. nothing we could do at this point but to wait. I guess no news is good news

I probably wasted 2 rims of paper and had to refill ink once Haha. It was tedious. I reviewed mine many times as I keep seeing errors along the way. Hopefully my final printout was error free (I hope) :)

Oh yeah the overall package was huge haha. I spent so much time on them that I was pretty disappointed when i realized my mistakes. I've since updated the forms to correct the errors and have them ready to go in the event we have to submit new forms. Maybe that can cut down any unnecessary wait time.

We used FedEx and the guy there put it in a small box for us (we just had ours organized and rubber banded in a manila folder). We did overnight shipping, which was QUITE pricey, but worth it.  We technically mailed it out on 9/29, but it was marked as delivered the morning of 10/2. So, going by the date we mailed it out, we got our NOA1 one week after.
