It is a decent app.  I was using it before I found this site.  It does offer good information.  Now that I look at the thread, it did just come out of nowhere!  You may be right!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

@Jones0987!!  You need to relax.  You will drive yourself crazy.  You just filed.  Take a deep breath and do not expect anything before mid March!!!  6 months is the going rate right now.  Hopefully they will speed up a little at the first of the year.  There are still over 1000 April filers still waiting.  Your time will come but for your sake relax and try to allow the stress and frustration to subside.  You have no control right now so just keep your eye on the ball.  It will happen.

I do need to relax... its just so exciting and nerve racking at the same time lol... i'm def going to be planning visits then!! Thank you much for your advice!! I love the support on this site...

Our K-1 visa was approved awhile ago and the USCIS site still has our status at NOA 1. I checked those apps multiple times a day while our application was being processed, to the point of obsessiveness, only to be let down. Then, one day, I got the NOA 2 in the mail (informed delivery is not yet available for my address).

 

Point is, if you keep seeing that your status is holding at "Case Received" don't lose hope. You just might get a surprise in the mail!!

Hey there! Thanks for sharing your experience with the app!!... another user said i need to relax and not obsess over it, but who can help that? You (all of us in general) put blood sweat and tears into the petition and they make you wait lolol 

 

i really gotta keep busy!
