Hi guys,

I'm having another freak out so hoping someone can calm my nerves.. CEAC said READY over two weeks ago and we waited a week to see if we received a letter from the embassy, however I've still not gotten anything. My fiance told me to schedule the interview anyway as we've read a lot of people never receive a letter or "packet 3"..and my fiance was saying, maybe they'll mean the NVC letter. so we went ahead and scheduled it and paid the visa fee (K1) .however i was just going thorough my appointment confirmation now and it says I need to bring the letter to my interview.. as I do not have this and not sure if I'll even get this what do we do, what do I tell them if they ask for it? I'm just getting myself really stressed out and worried that they might deny our visa now.... :( My interview is in 2 weeks..

I didn't have the letter when I went to my interview. When I got to the desk to check in, the lady asked me for me email confirmation (which you get when you book the interview) or the printout from the booking confirmation page. To quote her "I just need to see something that proves you've been invited here today". So take either one of those those things, or both, and you'll be fine. I never received the letter and I've been living in the US on my K1 visa since July :-)

Thank you!! :) Should I say that I never received it if they ask? I'm just worried they'll be annoyed that I went ahead and booked it without the letter.. xx

You do not need the letter. It tells you where to find your instructions which are here https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

Read all that so you don't miss any details or skip a step.

What you show at the interview is the confirmation from booking the appointment. The persons outside check it to make sure you have an appointment that day. Even if you don't take the appointment confirmation, you still get in because your name is on a list they can check. You also take your confirmation showing you paid the visa fee online. The person inside checking your documents will want to see that.
