Hi,

I became a PR in january 2015. I applied for ROC in November 2016, but still haven't heard anything and I don't think I'll hear back from them fro a while (California center).

- Can I send my application for Citizenship if it's 90days to the expiration of my CG?

- on the form N400, they ask for a copy of your GC. Is it ok for me to give a copy of my 2 yr GC (it has expired since January 2016)?

- on the N400, they ask for evidence of my marriage. I don't have anything more than what I've submitted back with my ROC last year. Should I resubmit the paperwork? Everything has stayed the same, and nothing really has changed as far as credit cards, banks, jobs, insurance, etc...

thank you!

Yes you can send in your N 400 once your window opens up 90 days prior to the 3rd anniversary of being a permanent resident even though your I-751 is still pending. It’s perfectly fine to send a copy of your expired conditional resident card together with a copy of your I-751 extension letter. Regarding evidence of marriage, you don’t have to overload your application this time like I-751. Send in a few evidence showing on going marital union such as bank statements, credit card statements, bills etc. Just a few recent ones for the past few months should do.
