@Romell you're on an F1 visa journey

@Abies youre on a CR1/IR1 visa journey

I think you both need to look at the timelines for approvals for your separate visa categories and service centers as this thread has been posted within the K1 visa section.

IR-1/CR-1 Spouse Visa Timelines

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=&op3=5&op5=&op6=All

Romell is actually a K-1 filer if you look at the timeline.

@Romell I would seriously reconsider that December wedding.  There is no chance that you will make POE by then.  You filed in July so dont expect your interview to happen much before January 29th.  That is the average 206 days from NOA1 to interview.  I think early February for the interview and then 10 or so days to VOH if AP doesn’t take too long.  POE can be as early as mid to late February if everything falls into place.  That rarely happens so please plan accordingly.

I pray that you have not spent any money on the wedding yet.

I hope you make it but right now it doesn’t look good.  There have been people who booked flights and put money down on a wedding reception that there is no way they can make.  They lost thousands of dollars.  They were September filers planning a mid December wedding!!!

The general rule here is to not book flights until the visa and passport are in hand.  There are so many spots where delays can happen!

Not quite accurate.  There are still 3700 of the 4700 petitions yet to be touched (as of Friday last week).  There are also 1000+ April and 3800 June that are waiting for review.

They are from the May, June and July forums.  There are people here who have set up daily scripts to run the USCIS numbers.  You will find conversations on this in any of those forums.

What Service Centre?

I'm an i130 May 16th filer at Texas Service Centre(day 160).

Presently,its taking Texas 175- 210 days for approvals and they are almost rounding up with April filers

You're on the CR-1/IR-1 path. The OP is on a K-1 path. Different forms and different timelines.

I-129Fs for a K-1 go to CSC.

Wow...that's actually a reasonable estimate. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. :P

Keep in mind that's just for the I-129F. Add about a month to get to and through NVC then to the embassy. Then usually 1-3 months for an interview, depending on embassy/consulate.

I'm kinda surprised people are still running my scripts. Surprised, but very glad. :) (Unless they scrapped them and use their own now)

I was actually going to mention that they are using your script!  You deserve so much credit.  @Shoegum did credit you when I saw the script.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for that and your continued support here!!!
