hey @shell20 got question for you please. The return receipt tracking number for the i-865 that we sent last week is now in transit back to us. My question Is, is that an actual return receipt or return receipt with letter from USCIS confirming that they changed my husband's address on their system? Just curious since i don't know what to expect after sending the i-865.

We got a couple of pink cards or something which was a receipt for delivery, then we received two letters from the USCIS, one to say I rang them up and another to say they had noted my husbands sponsorship change of address.  The only letter I did not receive back from the USCIS was my AR11, perhaps as I had rang up?  However, there is still prove with the pink receipt from USPS.. I think its pink, let me check. No its light green and proof of delivery from USPS. So in summary you should have two green postcard size cards from USPS, proof of delivery a letter from USCIS for Sponsors change of address and a letter regarding the AR11 change of address. The USPS cards came first followed a couple of days later from USCIS. Hope that helps.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

In reality you should receive a confirmation from USCIS within another week, probably two letters. I can't be sure as I couldn't change address online, so I had to ring up then fill in a Ar11.  Remember to keep your cards from USPS as proof of delivery, they can't dispute it then, ours with the letters are filed in case of any problems that may occur in the future.

Thank you so much @shell20 I actually got the light green proof of delivery from USPS with USCIS VSC stamp. I'm now waiting for the confirmation letter from USCIS that they updated the address of my spouse on their system. :)

I got an email from USPS informed delivery today, and based on the image I have one letter from USCIS VSC address to my USC spouse, I think that is the confirmation letter for I-865.

What is the second letter? is it for AR-11? I did the AR-11 (change of address) a week after we moved to our current apartment in 2015 and got an email confirmation from them that they received my AR-11.

I got a mail from USCIS VSC this year informing me I need to file the I-751 ROC within 90 days before my conditional resident expires . So I guess, if the second letter that you were saying is for AR-11, then I will not receive that since I already did the AR-11 in 2015? I did not receive letter from them though about the AR-11, only email confirmation after I filed my AR-11 online.

You probably wont get a letter from them then. I couldn't file online for some reason, it wouldn't let me sign it, so I rang them up and filled a manual AR11 in hence probably the letter I received. If you have already received an email and your letter is in the post, ,then you're good to go!

Many applicants don't know about it and they do file it late with a cover later explaining that they were unaware. I would suggest mail it as soon as possible because it is required by the law, good luck.

I have the form filled out and will it out tomorrow. I am not sure about a cover letter. I spoke to an Avvo attorney for 15 mins (paid) this morning when i found out about i865 and she did not mention a cover letter. She said to just send out the filled form without any documents.

I am not sure if i should include a cover letter now,  anybody have any thoughts. ?

You dont need a cover letter, just sent the form with your USC spouse signature, make sure you have the return receipt so you have proof and reference that you sent the form.
