I has been a month since i received NOA1.  is this normal or too long ?

another question i have is our age is 30 years different, is there an issue ?

Which country? I have seen bigger age differences approved from the Philippines, for example. 

 

Just noticed it's Cambodia. How long have you known each other?

How much time have you spent together in person?  Prepare the best K1 possible and join her to the interview, because marriage in Cambodia would be difficult/impossible

Expect 5-6 months (currently) for the NOA2 on average.

 

The age gap is a red flag, but sufficient relationship evidence can overcome this. Time spent physically together is important.

If you have a bonafide relationship and proof to back it up, age is not a factor. It is not uncommon at all in that region of the world for  that age difference. You just may need to be a little more diligent than most in providing evidence of your relationship.

But did you read the link the other person sent, it had this in it....

 

According to new marriage requirements issued on by the Government of Cambodia on March 7, 2011, male U.S. citizens wishing to marry Cambodian women must:

• Be under 50 years of age, and
• Have a monthly income of at least US $2,500
