Julie,

If your AOS drags on to December, will you automatucally get your unconditional card since it's been two years? And if you get it before December, will you have to turn around and file for unconditional?

That's my understanding. I (and the husband) wouldn't mind waiting until then, because he has an EAD that's valid through March 2008, and his travel doc is good through June 2008. What we're worried about is waiting even longer than that and having to renew his docs. We'd have to pay the new fees for each, which are nearly double. It's been a real headache.

Things are good here.

We went to a Wedding on Saturday- it was at a bed and breakfast outside of New Orleans. It was a beautiful house. The wedding was simple and casual. It was great.

Sigh. I miss New Orleans so much.....

My day was going good, and now it could only be better if my man was here.

Hey, can we go to the interviews with our SO's?

This whole process is just so unfair. I hope it works out to your advantage.

Hey, can we go to the interviews with our SO's?

I think they have to interview alone. You can go for morale support, but you can't go into the interview. That's my understanding anyhow. I think some consulates have let the USC go in though. I think I read that somewhere on here.

This whole process is just so unfair. I hope it works out to your advantage.

Any news on your case K?

Thanks for the support! I think the best-case scenario would be approval after our second anniversary and getting a 10-year card. At this point, I can't really complain, because at least we are together. The worst part was waiting for the K1 approval. Paying fees, even expensive fees that we shouldn't have to pay, is better than being apart indefinitely!
