10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

I am back now.

A friend of ours just dropped by to return a grill that he apparently borrowed 6 months ago for his daughter to use. I am kinda mad- this is a beautiful indoor grill/griddle that was a Wedding present for us. We eloped and for the announcements afterwards Mel wrote "no gifts" on the announcements we mailed out. That was one of the few gifts I actually received for a Wedding present.

I'm not trying to sound petty- but I am mad.
