AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Im doing good. Im just upset about something that occured yesterday on vj. It was in another thread, and there was some belittlement and berating going on. Well, suddenly out of no where the thread was closed, but not only was it closed, it totally disappeared . Poof! just gone.

I dont want answers. I dont want definitions. I dont want justifications. I dont want to hear the whys or the who's. Im not interested in who said what first or why so and so responded they way they did. The thread disappeared, remember?

Im upset about the Gestapo like actions as well as the implication that those here who are not seasoned veterans are equated and spoken to like stupid little children. That was wrong and shameful. My back is to the participants.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Things are good. I was here for 6 months before we got married, I am getting pretty good at knowing my way around. Although I need to ask Mel if we can drive to the Civil Surgeon tonight so I know where it is tomorrow.

I haven't been to the French Quarter yet since I got back. I want to do that soon.
