Tornado's are scary! There was a huge one here when I was 13. I saw the huge funnel perfectly from our kitchen window- we went down to the basement. It hit 2 km away- ripped through an industrial section.

tornadoes in canada? imagine that!

btw, hurricanes are worse.

Wow! You must have been terrified!

about 3 years ago, we had a horrendous storm and they sky turned green, the winds were unbelievable and I kinda knew this was ' it '. Since I have no basement and a tiny house, I gathered all the pets in the front room and embraced as many as I could and prayed our end would be swift. But we were spared, and not even one twig from the giant maple tree in front fell. God was merciful.

get an all steel dumpster. bury it in the back yard. it's better than nothing.

I know that too! I was in New Orleans during Katrina!

they are not worse just because they are a hurricane, it's cause they come with tornadoes too.

Hurricane Buelah (1967) spawned 141 according to one study.
