I am thinking about poor eric, toiling over the bananas as he said he would be. :(

It's going better than i expected. I now know what true happiness feels like! We just got back from the baton rouge zoo, had a blast! :thumbs:

It's the cajun spices. She'll get used to it. Have you had the chance to go to an Oriental store to get her stuff she can cook with?

Thanks Stacey and Admiral Verano! I meant every word of it, as I love you all.

As you know, I have BIRDS. That cockateil is nothing compared to my Cockatoo. You can be in the car, down the driveway and still be able to hear his screech . Heck , I have even heard him before I pull into the driveway, which is by no means close to my house. My dogs and cats are afraid of him. He came from a home of abuse, but in the 5 months I have had him, he is making great progress. I renamed him Pakwa.

I feel I should mention that I actually do like birds--just not this one. :-)

I just got back from my friend's house, and sadly, Tealie is still with us. He hissed at me as I changed his water thingy. Ungrateful #######.

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008
