Ok, so I am feeling mushy ( fasting and praying ) and think this is good time to tell my one and only ' family ' here how much I cherish you all. I am forever in debt to those who prayed hard for me during my illness, and during my many trials. Thing WILL get better and you will see I will soon have a Testimony.

Yes, this General can be an old softy at times, but I will keep my helmet on , study even more battle plans, and defeat the giant. I want you all to be happy today, and take time to remember those who were the bravest, sacrificing their all yesterday for our today. (F)

God be with us all!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well I had one glitch today. The money Mel sent me from his bank account to mine will not be in my account until who knows when. We thought this was supposed to be the quickest way!!! This was the money to pay my dad back for my flight to Vancouver and Hotel. Plus extra for me to eat. I won't get my last paycheck until friday. But Bank of Daddy came through and all is well. I have my 100 USD for the Consulate and I will get more passport photos today.

My Fedex package is in Edmonton and is guaranteed to be here before 5 today.

Dr Chanas office will do everything they can to have my medical results by tomorrow.

Hi, Stacey

That sounds like plenty going on! I know you've probably said this a million times, but when is your interview again?

Greetings, everyone. What's happenin'?

In a little while, I have to go over to my friend's house to check on his evil cockatiel while he's out of town.

I bought one of those once!!

I was living in Montreal by myself when I was 21, I thought getting a cockatiel would be a great idea!! I was so excited on my way to the petstore, they had a male and thats what I wanted. I bought the bird and all the stuff I needed.I names him Quincy. I brought him back to my appartment, I let him be for a while to adjust to his new home. Then I heard him screetch!! It was the loudest noise I have ever heard. It must have echoed through the whole building. I read the book about it and it said they do this- at dusk and dawn. I sat on the couch thinking "oh no, I can't keep this bird, the neighbors will kill me."

I took him back. I hope Quincy went to a good home.

Ha! Yeah, they're a pain in the #######. This particular bird, Tealie, hates everyone but his owner (my friend). He hisses and pecks when you get near him. He also seems to lack that survival instinct. He's not caged and has a little set-up by the window, and sometimes he'll get spooked by, say, a blowing leaf outside. He'll take off and perch on a bookshelf or the shower curtain rod, then chirp helplessly for hours until someone (i.e., his owner) comes to save him. He's a little $#it. I told Mikey (my friend) that I'd help him pick out a little coffin when the time comes.

Hey, Sol

Hahaha.

A friend of my sisters used to have one. A famale name Chicky, she used to bring her over- she was the sweetest bird~ once I was sitting on the floor wrapping a present and Chicky would steal my paper and try to run away with it. She was very tame and friendly.

Thanks Stacey and Admiral Verano! I meant every word of it, as I love you all.

As you know, I have BIRDS. That cockateil is nothing compared to my Cockatoo. You can be in the car, down the driveway and still be able to hear his screech . Heck , I have even heard him before I pull into the driveway, which is by no means close to my house. My dogs and cats are afraid of him. He came from a home of abuse, but in the 5 months I have had him, he is making great progress. I renamed him Pakwa.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

Aw!! They are amazing creatures. I'm so glad Pawka is now in your care.
