WoW, I pay nearly that much for a 6pack here in WA.

A 6 pack in MO is $7.19 without tax. What a Ripoff!

A 6pack in NL would be $2.50. Without tax!

Yeah it's like in Puerto Rico, Bacardi is cheaper than the coca cola

Since it's locally made, rum is so cheap!

In Ukraine, alcohol is sold right on the streets from what we would view as a "soda machine" and/or "lemon-aid" stand. A liter of vodka was damn near about a $1.00! A 22-ounce of beer, about $.35. I would stand in the street and watch the school kids put their money in the machine and get their beer. It put into perspective how tolerate they become to alcohol into their adult years! ;)

Out of 4 trips there in the last couple of years, would you believe I've only seen 3 people who were intoxicated? One was an old lady who fell face down on the sidewalk in the snow and couldn't get up. I heard her at 3am from my apartment is why I saw that one. The other was a guy walking down the sidewalk. He was playing a sideways type of hopscotch. I don't think he made it 5 feet in 5 minutes! The 3rd one was me. Absinth got me pretty bad. I didn't have a hang over. But I did get my camera stolen from a girl I knew there! I passed out. She was gone and so was my camera. She didn't bother taking the charger for it though! I'm just happy she left my laptop! ;)

If you ever try Absinth, make sure it is the one with wormwood. Not the wormwood-flavored! Important! Do not take it as a shot either. It needs to be mixed. I have some here at my house. I learned how to make these drinks with Absinth. I light the sh!t on fire first! Pretty cool! ;)
