01/17/2007 Faxed the checklist to the Immigrant Visa Unit in Frankfurt

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

I'm so sorry to hear about your birdie, N :cry:(F) What kind of bird was it?

O, what an adventure you had with your dogs. Our dog also makes a mad dash to explore the "world" whenever somebody inadevertently leaves our door open. Interesting about the "baby talk" though.

years ago I was a dog obedience trainer and dogs respond to a high pitched baby talking voice

like magic ! Don't have time to train anymore or they would not have run away

in the first place. ;)

I had a German Shepherd Dog who could drop on recall at 20 weeks !

Similar, but the pic you posted is a sun conure. The face looks a lot like her, though.

We are still trying to train our border collie to come when he runs away. Inside the house he is very biddable but once he gets a whiff of fresh air he's off. He was 2 years old when we got him and we have been able to get rid of some of his old "bad" habits. But the running away is still a big problem for us.

Sit, down, stay, heel, come, stand....

I had a German Shepherd Dog who could drop on recall at 20 weeks !

I used to compete at shows in obedience besides confirmation but it got to be too

time consuming.

As a trainer I had about 15 people all bringing in their wild and crazy dogs who pulled

them in all directions...it was as though they brought in their owners.

After the 10 week course all were able to sit stay oppsite their owners

off leash 10-15 ft. away, all sitting next to each other like ducks in a row.

It was neat to watch the progress of each team. Sometimes the dogs

"got it" but the owners were confused. :whistle:
