The past has arrived to overlap the present, but not in any two-bit, half-azzed , nostalgic way. No, the past has returned to fall hopelessly in love with the present and to shower it with useful gifts.

I try not to slobber sentimentally over the past. I promise myself to accord it crisp even as I grill it at length, and treat it as if it had never been allowed to be fully alive.......until now.
