Are you serious? 109??

I recall being there in Phoenix back in 1977 or 78, I dont remember which, and it was late July. It was 115 one particular day, and I could not go horseback riding. I was sad.

Congratulations to you, AOS D ! How is the weather in AZ?

Oy! Don't ask--it's supposed to be the hottest day so far this year. It's 109 now.

Ouwie! That's hot!! Is it dry heat or humid?

Right now we're sitting at 85. But tomorrow it's supposed to be in the mid-90s (humid heat).

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

Yeah, it's not unusual for this time of year. I seem to remember the really hot days being in June, for some reason. And when the "monsoon" season starts (July), it will be humid, too. But I like the rainy season--violent, awesome thunderstorms.

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Super dry heat--I think the humidity is 4%. It's still hot, though. Some people say that once it's over about 105, you don't notice the difference thereafter, but I disagree. 105 is really hot, but 111 feels like your skin is frying.
