Hey guys.

I work for a big transnational french company at their Mexican offices. But my contract is with a personnel company.

So X company hired me to give my services to the Y company, so my boss, my activities, location and everything else is related to this Y company.

There's a regional business meeting coming in January and I'm required to go, I assist the national sales manager and I'm always required for important meeting because I handle all administrative tasks (reports, documents, meetings agendas, etc). My boss wants me to go for this next meeting too in the US offices but I don't have an US Visa.

Can I ask for one with a letter of the company Y saying that I'm required to assist?

Please consider:

-My position is not a fancy one: I'm a "Manager's Assistant"

-My incomes are good for the country average.

-I do have a good academic and work background (with others American companies).

-I had the tourist visa rejected twice in 2 months (2 years ago) because I couldn't prove enough ties to my home country.

-I no longer live in my home country, been here for 8 months under a legal residency, but no assets or family. And I plan to stay here.

Thanks for taking the time to reply

Since its been 2 years that your tourist visa has been denied then am sure things have changed now in your life mostly career wise. You may ask for documentation from the company that pays your salary so I guess it company X here and apply for a B1/B2 visa. You said currently you are not in your home country and since you are in a management position in a foreign country then there are chances of visa approval.

Certainly can not do any harm.
