I am done with CFO last Oct.19 here in Manila. My schedule is 9am-12nn. And i will be leaving on Nov.4. If you’re leaving on Nov.26 why go ahead and schedule it on Nov.16 since you said it is the next available date for Manila seminar. Don’t worry bcos it’s only one day process after seminar you will get your sticker and certificate already. Simple and easy.

We had an appointment at Iloilo City to get my wife's passport renewed and get at passport for her eight year old daughter. They made an announcement the evening before that their offices would be closed, but we had an appointment and didn't get the announcement. A number of other people were in the same situation as we were, and we all showed up. We traveled on a bus for three hours to get there, so we got a hotel room next to their offices, and stayed for the night. We went there 7 a.m. the next morning, and my wife and her daughter went through the long lines. They were processing people who were scheduled two days that their offices were closed. When my wife got to where she talked with the Philippines Immigration Officer, he told her to go to Manila, attend the cfo siminar, and then come back to Iloilo City and they were issue her a renewed passport in her married name, changing status, changing here name on the passport. He gave that advice because she told him that she was immigrating with my to the USA, so he told her that cfo siminar was required anyway, so attend the siminar and then return. When we tried to schedule the appointment for the siminar we discovered that many dates had no siminar available, and many were taken. Today is October 28, 2017, and the only day we could have scheduled was November 15, 2017, and the next was Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th, so we chose November 24th, the morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. My wife is required to be there one and one half hours early to fill out a registration for. After attending that cfo siminar we will return to Ilioilo City so that she can get her passport renewed with her married name, and get a passport for her eight year old daughter, and her fourteen year old son already has his passport. Then we will file our Petitions and wait for the approval and the Manila Case Number so that their interviews and their medical examinations can be scheduled. Then soon after we will be ready to fly to the USA.

We just secured our transportation to Manila, and we will be there one day early, and my wife will be sure to be there 90 minutes before her session begin. Will they allow me to go with her to the seminar? I am the petitioning US Citizen husband. I would like to go if I am allowed to? I go everywhere with her that I can. Thank you!

They may not allow me to go with my wife to this seminar? I am wondering if they will allow me to be with her?

Of course they won't let you go to the CFO with your asawa because it is for her only.

You will be able to go the embassy interview with her though.

My wife got her certificate from the CFO office in Clark in mid October.  Now that we have her passport with the visa, can we get it stamped at any CFO office?  Or does it have to be Pampanga?

No, it can be at any office. What people usually do is they get the certificate then get it stamped at NAIA when they are leaving the country.

Any office will accommodate her by placing the sticker in her passport.

Be careful with NAIA as it is true you can get your sticker there, but it is by appointment only.  CFO recommends you call ahead at least 2 days in advance to insure that someone is at their office when you arrive at NAIA. Just saying.
