yes its the best way to do it especially if you're in nebraska. that service center is the butt end of the deal

Yes 535 petition 325 for the immigrant visa fee and 165 for the green card and about 18500 for the medical if Im not mistaken

Very good! But how can I pay $535 to whom at the embassy? I was told to pay directly to USCIS instead at the embassy :(

i believe theres a window at the embassy where you pay.

Oh, thats related to DCF via the embassy in Manila that's what I ask with my question. Confusing here if I have to make another thread? :huh:

Thank you! What are the requirement documents as a petitioner to provide the residence & to file? Because I only have BB 1 year free via marriage and have family here in the Philippines in Batangas area :)

why did it take that long for the I-130 to be approved? Usually the I-130 gets approved in  a month or less.

Because as the post mentions, they're not doing DCF. They're going through the Nebraska service center which takes 6-8+ months

06/04/2017: Married

06/24/2017: Mailed I-130

06/27/2017: NOA1 (technically a RFE as we were missing beneficiary ID)

07/06/2017: NOA2

07/12/2017: Case assigned by Juarez embassy

07/17/2017: Packet 3 received

08/15/2017: Interview/Approval!

08/22/2017: Visa received via DHL

09/03/2017: POE

09/16/2017: Permanent Resident Card received

 

Total days from NOA1 to approval: 49
