it would be interesting to  know how many files they process a day.

It varies greatly. Some days are none or a few (30 or so is not uncommon), it is RARELY over 185 in a day. There are about 4000 to 5000 per month this year, you do the math (hint: they are not keeping up!). :)

It can take upto 6 months from NOA1 to be approved and receive NOA2. Have you moved to another address after filing for I-129F ?

You filed before the slow down. Your timeline is what everyone expected, we are now looking at double to triple the wait that  you experienced.

So, it means September filers will feel the impact. We waited to send the I-129F package till September because last year took one month to get NOA2.

Also, the fact we didn’t add we met on Tinder has been so frustrating because we could get a RFE

Given the filing quantities, you are likely to see less of a wait than us June filers who will likely get LOTS of RFEs and even those that don't are likely to average over 180 days. However, they could stay kind of flat for awhile since the rate they are working them suggest they will work their way through June and July with a fairly consistent sized backlog.

Im May 11th als, and still waiting for our NOA2 i called and they said to keep waiting and that they were running behind.

You are almost in the "sweet spot" of what they are working. Decent odds to get in the next 10 days.

Ok so reading this topic gave me crazy anxiety lol... im a sept filer, does that mean i'll have to wait crazy long for noa2? I'm reading that they are backlogged from the summer, will this ultimately trickle down to sept people??... help!! 🙂

Will it be crazy long? Yes. Will it be as long as late May and early June filers will wait? Perhaps not.

I think many are realizing CR1 would have been better option. 13 or 14 months and you enter able to work and such. K1 is now looking like 10 months until entry and several more until you can work.

Absolutely....That's just so depressing to think that if I could have waited, it could have been so different, however, i am just going to stay optimistic about this process... Fingers crossed!!

And it would have been cheaper to add insult to injury!
