Bad Results during medical Exam

Hello everyone, I went in for my medical exam very positve and happy, long story short, I had a cheating BF that ended up  passing gonorhea onto me and test positive for it! I was so devastated because I've been petitioned by my dad many years ago and Im finally interviews and good results and now this, they gave me the results and told me all I had to do was do the treatment which was 1 shot 2 pills and I would be good , of course I cried and was very nervous , now the doctor told me she was going to let the embassy know I followed the treatment and I shouldn't worry so much, BUT IM SO WORRIED I CANT SLEEP OR EAT.

 

Im cured now, I tested negative in the last test (NOT OFFICIAL TEST FOR THE EMBASSY, MY OWN OBGYN) , have this happend to anyone? not only with STDs but any disease in general, what usually happens? The doctor tried to calm me down saying  I was ok because I got the treatment but Im frustrated, please GIVE ME GOOD NEWS.

Gonorrhea is a bacterial infection. After your antibiotics treatment you are good to go. Dnt worry :)

Testing positive for HIV/AIDS used to be an automatic bar to getting a Green Card but that's no longer the case. I can't imagine gonorrhea being a problem. Confirming you're good to go...

But it's not an issue...you've been treated so there's no health reason for ineligibility.
