Hi guys

so last Thursday on the 12th of October I was told me and my partner were approved at the interview ! Yay !

However because I had "no live trace" on my police certificate Because (I shoplifted when I was 14 recieved a reprimand) anyway I have them a sworn statement with all the details of the case which I had discussed with Acro and they said they would need to confirm this with Acro but that I should get my visa within 10 days ! So I walked out so happy and told my partner. However we are now on the 7th day since the interview and I am starting to panic ! We have been on the ceac status check and for the past 4 days it has said "administrative processing" and that we can expect to wait  "several weeks" 😳 Can someone please tell me what this is as it isn't clear on the website and I am really worried ? I've read so many horror stories on the internet about people getting stuck on AP for years ! I could understand if we were missing alot of paper work but for just one fact check seems odd, I also checked with Acro and they had confirmed my statement with the US embassy and emailed back to them on the 16th which was when the case status was last updated since then it has said "administrative processing" any ideas of what's going on ??

However my consular officer said because I had "no live trace" on my police certificate Because (I shoplifted when I was 14 recieved a reprimand) I would need to clarify this information and get details off Acro which I had already done , so I gave them a sworn statement with all the details of the case  and they said they would need to confirm this with Acro if I had given them permission I confirmed I had . He then said that I should get my visa within 10 days ! And that was that .  So I walked out so happy and told my partner.
