May I also add, what kind of information did you provide for shared evidence proof? Evidence like photos, messages, calls, bank accts, etc?

Thanks!

For AOS we only provided the certified marriage certificate because our proof of relationship was already submitted with the K1 visa.

Just a heads up. It may take 1-4 weeks to get the marriage certificate for AOS. We got married in the small town I grew up in which made the process really quick (about 7 days they called me and told me it was ready for pick up). I know some people it has taken several weeks.

EAD/AP is taking several month. My husband just received his card last month after 96 days (I consider us one of the shorter wait times compared to others in a AOS forum we have been following).

I heard that k-1 visa holder also have to file form i-130 for adjustment of status with forms i-485 AOS

Is it true can any one please tell

If they married within 90 days of entry on the K-1, then no I-130 is used.

If they marries after the 90 days, then an I-130 is needed (like any other spouse currently in the US...effectively the whole K-1 aspect is ignored).

When you file for AOS doesn't impact this...it's based on when you marry even if you file after 90 days.

You're still the underlying petition's petitioner. The I-485 (AOS) is the visa holder's application (not a petition). The only thing the original petitioner has to complete is the I-864...everything else is really the AOS applicant's role to complete (although I highly suggest doing it together, obviously).

Havinga wedding party is not a requirement or even good evidence.  They will be looking at how you have begun to live your life as a married couple.  Same household, joint accounts, etc....

YMMV
