Hi guys, I find this a dumb question as well. Haha. But i want to make sure before I submit my application

Questions from All Forms:

1. So I have a couple of fields in the form that does not apply to me or I don't have information

Ex:  So I don't have USCIS # and A#..... I tried to type in Not Applicable or None.. or some dates on the form but I couldn't type anything to it.

Can I just leave it blank? or print in by pen N/A or None?

2.  Is I131 granted only for emergency purposes? We are planning to go to Europe in May 2018 (flights and cruises) are already booked. Can I write this as a purpose of travel?

3. Evendence Requirements: I don't have that many yet.

I have for now

- Joint bank account opened in Sept 2017 when we both decided to just stay here

- Auto Insurance Policy

-Photos from our Civil wedding (Decembe 2015) in Bradenton Florida

-Photos from Christian wedding April 2016 (attended by most of our family and friends) in Cebu Philippines

-Travel Photos: We made a lot of trips to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Philippines and our visits to Canada and Florida (while visiting each other)

-Screenshots of some of our major life events as documented on facebook (with likes and comments from most of our friends and family)

Is this sufficient? We don't have lease and utility bills under our name because my husband's family has a 2nd house in Orlando, which is paid for by his parents and we get to stay for free. and the utility bills are under his parents name but we pay the bills not just under our name.

My background: I am a Canadian Citizen married to a US Citizen. I've been in and out of USA since 2013 and never had problems. I was always honest that I was visiting my husband and then boyfriend at the POE. We didn't have solid plans where to move because I personally wanted us to move to Canada but the economy sucks right now in Alberta and job opportunities are very scarce thus the decision to move to USA for now.

Sorry for this long post! THanks for the help if ever!

You will not have a Alien Number as you are adjusting from a Tourist visa. You may skip USCIS account # as well.

I-131 is granted until your AOS gets approved and have your green card in hand.

1. leave blank.

2. No you can use AP for any reason and you dont have to provide a reason unless its for DACA which has been terminated. Read instructions again.

3. Its a good start but keep collecting more evidence of commingled financial and personal lives. Send what you have now and collect more example you can get a gym membership together, any travel together - tickets, photos and itineraries, affidavits from friends and family that know of your relationship.

You actually seem to have a good amount of evidence that your relationship/marriage is genuine.

From what I've read so far in my research you can definitely file for AOS with the evidence you have right now and then keep collecting more by the time you are scheduled for interview.

I feel like proving you live at the same place and comingling of finances are two of the more important things so in your case, you can get an affidavit from the family stating that you are living on their property together. They can also explain that they pay your utility bills as well. Maybe you can pay the internet/cable bill from a joint bank account? That's what I'm planning to do since we live in employer provided housing.

05/24/2017 Entered the US on a J1 visa

Should I wait for the affidavits before I submit? or I can submit now? I really want to send it over already not unless it will just cause a little delay. and more reason for RFE

If you send it now without the affidavit, you are definitely not gonna receive a RFE for it!

It's probably gonna come up at the interview though - you'd have to explain your living situation.

You can bring it with you.

That's what I think based on reading a bunch of people's experiences on VJ. Hope I'm not misleading you!

Hahah no its fine. :) I saw some advices that somehow affidavits aren't  big of a deal because anyone can just write an affidavit for the couple.  That's why I didn't bother :)

I just established as a strong proof when I compiled our travels toether,  his contstant visits to Canada and mine to USA since 2012...

Have you submitted?

There no hard and fast evidence to present besides a marriage certificate and proof of citizenship/LPR of sponsor. It is the totality of the evidence presented. So everything helps. Just dont throw mad at the wall and see what sticks. Affidavits will help if you dont have much evidence but may be overlooked  if you have a lot.
